NonStop: The Music - 2020//2021
Non-Profit Project Supporting Global Musicians During The Pandemic
Concept and Production by Rodrigo de Marsillac
Directed by Olívia Mamberti & Leo Fiorito
Edited by Olívia Mamberti
Conceptualized by Brazilian film composer and music producer Rodrigo de Marsillac during the beginning stages of lockdown, this project was created as a way to find an alternative medium for musicians and performers to still be able to collaborate and create together during this bleak and confusing period of time, specially for artists involved in doing live music for a living.
"Nonstop The Music" had the goal of uniting creators from all over the world to create a "never-ending' song, through a chain of musicians contributing with a short participation showcasing their musical ideas, with no restraints of specific music genres or instruments.
Directed by Olívia Mamberti and Leonardo Fiorito, the project has 20 episodes, featuring in total over 200 musicians from countries like Brazil, United States, Portugal, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Taiwan amongst others. We also had the honour of having a few special guests, including Grammy nominated conductor Michael Riesman (Ep. #11) and Grammy nominated pianist Mick Rossi
(Ep. #14), both from The Phillip Glass Ensemble, and renown Brazilian artists such as violinist Lucas Lima (Ep. #14).
LimeZest Studio - 2017//2020
Music Video Production Company by Olívia Mamberti & Patrícia Abreu
This mom and daughter partnership was originated in 2017, due to the most common need in our time for young creators: to publish original quality content and keep the social platforms updated, gradually building-up an audience. In my case, to showcase my original compositions that were starting to take shape at that time.
As time passed, our skills and interest in music video making grew stronger and we eventually started working with other bands and artists as well, such as Duo Maia and Faria.
